Rejuvenated Glow Studios grew from a concern I could not ignore: too many clients with melanin-rich skin were receiving treatments that did not fully account for how their skin could respond. I experienced this personally when a treatment worsened my skin concern and I was left without clear guidance on how to care for my skin afterward.

 

That experience showed me how important it is for corrective care to include a careful skin assessment, an appropriate treatment plan, and clear client education. I wanted to create a space where every client feels seen, stays informed, and can trust that their care is professionally guided and tailored to their skin.

 

Through professional esthetics education and continued study of corrective skincare, it became increasingly clear that people with medium-to-deep skin tones can have additional considerations when treating concerns such as hyperpigmentation, acne-related discoloration, melasma, scarring, inflammation, and post-inflammatory pigmentation. At the same time, every person’s skin is different — having a similar skin tone does not mean two people should automatically receive the same treatment.
