Advanced Corrective Esthetician
For Kyeshia, skincare is about much more than performing a facial. Her interest in corrective esthetics developed from wanting to understand why certain skin concerns persist, and how professional treatment, home care, education, and consistency can work together to create meaningful change.
As her education in esthetics and corrective skincare continued, she became particularly interested in the treatment considerations associated with medium-to-deep, melanin-rich skin. She recognized that concerns such as acne, hyperpigmentation, melasma, postinflammatory discoloration, uneven tone, and scarring can require careful treatment selection — particularly when the skin is prone to pigmentation changes following irritation or inflammation. That became an important part of her professional focus.
Kyeshia’s approach is education-first, individualized, and results-driven. She believes clients should understand what’s happening with their skin, why a treatment is being recommended, and what they can do between appointments to support their progress. Most importantly, she wants every client who enters Rejuvenated Glow Studios to feel that their concerns are being heard and that their treatment plan was created specifically for them — not simply selected from a menu.

Why I Specialize in Melanin-Rich Skin
As I learned more about corrective skincare, I became especially interested in understanding how medium-to-deep skin tones can respond to inflammation, injury, certain ingredients, and corrective treatments. I also recognized how frustrating it can be for someone to invest in skincare and still feel like their specific skin concerns aren’t fully understood. That’s why this specialization matters to me.
I want clients with melanin-rich skin to have a place where their skin is approached thoughtfully, where treatment decisions consider both the concern we’re trying to correct and how their individual skin may respond. At the same time, no two people have identical skin — my goal will always be to treat the person in front of me rather than make assumptions based solely on skin tone or background.
